I've been leading a four-week musical theater summer camp at Concordia Conservatory for the past few summers -- it's wonderful and crazy, as the kids and I develop two new 30-minute musicals to be performed during the last week of camp. I seem to remember that in elementary school, when I was over at my friend Adam's house, he and his brother Jason would sometimes sing a two-note mantra "Milk and Cookies!" when demanding a snack from their mother. I brought it out to the campers this year on a whim, and it stuck. It didn't make it into our show, but we certainly found a moment when we were recording the rest of the songs from the show...
